Edel has been working with Kings Laundry since January 2007. Initially Edel was contracted to implement a certified ISO9001 Quality Management System which was successfully achieved in 2008. This certified QMS has been updated (to 2015 standard) and effectively managed by Edel since 2007.
In 2008 Edel was contracted as the Health and Safety Advisor to our expanding business. This remit included development of a Safety Statement, risk assessments, DSE assessments, manual handling training, health & safety audits, accident investigation and liaising with relevant parties including customers, insurance bodies, regulatory bodies etc as required.
Edel has excellent organisational and communication skills, has sound judgement, excellent attention to detail and analytical ability. Over the years we have found Edel enthusiastic, professional, reliable and available to deal with urgent issues when they arose. Edel has been an integral part of Kings Laundry and its growth. Edel Boles is employed as a consultant for Family Carers Ireland. Edel has worked with the Organisation since 2008. The various projects that Edel has consulted on have also included development and design.

A very practical, well delivered programme which covered all aspects of Safety management and legal responsibilities as an employer or business owner. The programme culminated in each participant having a comprehensive and practical statement which can be updated by them as required. Typically with Safety Statement Courses participants can leave with lots of work “TO DO” which tends to be left on the long finger. The overall approach differed from other programmes in that clients had a great opportunity to meet one to one with the trainer to ensure aspects of the programme are fully developed and ready for implementation in the individuals business.
